A child sits in the middle of real train tracks, deeply engaged with a toy train in hand—a poignant contrast between play and reality, innocence and looming direction. “On the Way” invites reflection on childhood imagination, vulnerability, and the metaphoric tracks we all follow. The painting balances wonder with quiet tension, encouraging the viewer to consider what it means to be in transit—both literally and emotionally.
This work was featured in two national juried exhibitions:
– 2025 Biennale at Art League of Hilton Head (SC), one of the Southeast’s most respected art competitions.
– “SUPER” Group Exhibition at Arts Warehouse in Delray Beach, FL, selected from a national open call in honor of Mental Health Awareness Month.
