Rendering at the Shore portrays two children at the edge of the sea, shaping a sandcastle under a luminous sky. Yet, as the viewer observes, the structure they build transforms, revealing itself as a three-dimensional architectural design, drawn in linear form, as if imagined by young dreamers envisioning a future city.

Embedded toy soldiers lie within the textured impasto, blending play and symbolism. The work reflects on the act of creation as both innocent and visionary: childhood as the origin of imagination, migration, and faith. The architectural rendering becomes a metaphor for the “celestial city”—a place of belonging that the human heart continues to build, even on transient shores.
